Testimonials

A very different food tour and thoroughly enjoyable. Veronica shared some interesting into Korean, culture, food, history and eating etiquette. Lunch was an incredible array of dishes in a small restaurant serving traditional Korean food. The tea stop was again interesting in a lovely tea house. Recommend this tour to gain an insight into real Korean food.

We did the Heart of Seoul Tour. It was an excellent tour - probably in our top 3 food tours of any country - and Veronica was an excellent guide. Knowledgeable about food, culture and history. The great thing about the tour was that it included varied experiences so you got to eat at the busy local market, at local restaurants, tourist areas, food halls and at modern Korean places. It was wonderful to see and taste the different foods of Seoul and was a definite highlight of our time in Seoul.

We really enjoyed the tasting and the opportunity to see how traditional Korean alcohol is made. We loved how cozy our little group felt. Our guide Veronica made sure not only that we had a great dinner, but she also showed us around the neighbourhood and made great suggestions for things to do. We highly recommend this tour to any traveler who likes having a good time while also learning new things!

It was very fascinating to learn about how each traditional alcohol is made and we enjoyed our trip to the brew master’s workshop. The dinner was very interesting, and although it wasn’t really our taste, it was still interesting to try the traditional seafood dishes.
